The video recording is also different now. Instead of twinkling green lights, the recorder just shows a blue light when it's recording. You put the Camstick in DV mode to record video. When you turn it on, press the big round button once & it will go into stand-by mode, green light. Press it again, and it turns blue, now it's recording. Press the button again to stop recording and save to memory. You can continue to record more video.

Switch the button to "Rec", and you can record just audio when you press the round button. Press the button again to stop recording.

You can record while you talk to someone, so they have no idea it is recording. It looks like an innocent pen or something in your pocket, or they will think you are a total geek.
