With the VersaCam LiveView, you have access to advanced Internet accessible surveillance system features at a fraction of the price you would pay for a regular surveillance system.

The Basic VersaCam is a one camera with a USB based receiver. You plug it in your PC's USB port, install the software, and you can record the video to your computer, and view it from any Internet based computer. While it will receive up to 4 cameras, the VersaCam base is limited, and will only view one channel at a time and it has to be manually changed, though the VersaCam cameras are very good quality cameras at a very affordable price.

HOWEVER, you can also hook up to 8 additional cameras using standard 2.4GHz receivers and the Blue Iris software on most new PC's. Not yet Apple or Vista compatible, only XP, 2000, ME, etc.

We now offer additional cameras, using 4 or 8 channel 2.4GHz receivers and the incredible Blue Iris software. While the Blue Iris software is limited, as it won't show split screens with 8 little pictures, you can set it to rotate every 1.5 seconds so it's like viewing the cameras quickly and if you see something worth viewing, the Blue Iris software has a virtual Pan, Zoom feature that lets you zoom in on what you need more detail on.

If you are on a budget, and can't buy a DVR card or DVR, and you have a PC with a RCA jack video input, this is the way to go, otherwise get a DVR card like the GeoVision DVR Cards to show split screens.

This set up is for basic home or office low budget surveillance needs and we have set up 8 camera systems using a standard PC with a Video input card that has an RCA jack that will handle up to 8 VersaCam cameras! You can do the same if you are on a budget and we can guide you through the process.
